Yokohama City has 27 public tennis court facilities. (Residents of Yokohama City can make reservations to use these facilities as individuals by using the city’s facility reservation system “Hamakko Card.”)
Some of the facilities not only have their tennis courts available for use by the public but also host unique events such as tennis schools and tournaments. There are some programs that welcome individual participants.
Now that a new season is here, it is the best time to take up tennis!
Shinyokohama Park Tennis Courts

Shinyokohama Park has 10 all-weather hard courts built to the US Open standard. In addition to lighting for night games, a drill wall is available for free.
The courts are not only available for use by the public but also used for beginner- and intermediate-level tennis lessons conducted in Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings by coaches certified by the Yokohama Tennis Association.
